Cult of the Dead Three

Symbols of the Dead Three (L-R): Myrkul, Bane, and Bhaal

Worshippers of the three dead, evil gods: Myrkul, former god of the dead; Bhaal, former god of murder; and Bane, former god of tyranny. All three were human adventurers who took over the portfolio of the deity Jergal, Lord of the End of Everything. Despite their deities being dead, the worshippers maintain worship.

There is evidence that they were infiltrating Elturel before the fall of the city. They were also active in Baldur's Gate, where they were being used in two different ways by the Vanthampur family: Duke Vanthampur had gifted them an old temple underneath the Frolicking Nymph bathhouse. In return, Amrik fed names of Hellriders, Companions, and their descendants who had arrived into the city via forged paperwork that he gave them, the bathhouse wing of the Dead Three cultists (overseen by Mortlock monitored these folks and - once they had isolated their location and routine - sent word to a murder squad operating out of the Poisoned Poseidon to finish the job. Their bodies were then mutilated and dumped in Insight Park.

The party infiltrated both the Poseidon and the bathhouse dungeon, wiping out both wings of the Cult of the Dead Three there, as well as taking Mortlock into custody.

The leader of the organization in the Poisoned Poseidon was Remigio, a Master of Souls (high-ranked Myrkul worshipper), while the bathhouse had three religious leaders: Flennis (also a Master of Souls), Vaaz (a Death's Head of Bhaal), and Yignath (an Iron Consul of Bane). All three are dead now.
